He earned his Dipl.-Ing. in Engineering from Ruhr-Universität Bochum and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Michigan, with early research conducted at the M.E. Müller Institute for Biomechanics. He held senior leadership roles at Synthes and Medtronic, and founded VISARTIS Healthcare in 2012.Visarius has secured substantial industry and public grant support for MedTech innovation projects, serves as board member for multiple life-science enterprises, and maintains a global professional network across healthcare markets in Europe, India, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
